SOCCER CAMPS

Our Bosco’s Buddies Soccer Camps are SAFE, educational and fun!

Ages 2-3 and ONE parent will play organized games and learn cooperation and group socialization through the sport of soccer.  They will learn ball skills, foot-eye coordination, and SCORE GOALS!  Experienced coaches lead 40 minute classes and deliver a structured and enjoyable approach to soccer basics.

Ages 4-6 progresses from fun soccer play to the actual introduction of organized, small-sided, enjoyable approach to soccer.  Experienced coaches employ fun games designed to encourage good sportsmanship, touches on the ball, goal scoring, and cooperation. Here is the information and schedule:

Winter 1 Camp @ The Sports Academy:

• Ages 2-3 w/parent; Ages 4-6
• 6 weeks on Tuesdays OR Wednesdays
• Cost: $75

  • Tuesdays: Nov 3, 10, 17; Dec 1, 8, 15 (off Nov 24)
  • Wednesdays: Nov 4, 11, 18; Dec 2, 9, 16 (off Nov 25)

Our Goalkeeper coaches provide developmental training for both the mental and physical aspects of the goalkeeper position. You will learn proper fundamentals of getting set, diving correctly, developing softer hands, punting the ball, becoming quicker and proper footwork. Tactically, we teach positional awareness and help keepers realize the confidence to challenge breakaways.  Goalkeeper camp is appropriate for ages 8-14.

• This program is ONLY open to and appropriate for players in high school, college and those aspiring to play professionally.
• We will reserve the right to allow 2008 players on a case by case basis. Please submit a request via email to info@eliteft.com for an approval of a 2008 age year athlete.

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?

• Your child should wear comfortable/athletic-type clothing so they can move freely
• Shin guards are highly recommended for ages 4+, Ages 2-3 do not have to have shin guards
• Outdoor shoes are recommended on the turf; Molded plastic cleats/studs will work best for traction and enhance your experience.
• Tennis shoes are ok for younger children.
• NO metal cleats or studs allowed.

WHAT TRAINING DO YOUR COACHES RECEIVE?

• To ensure the best experience for our program participants, staff training is our top priority
• Our ongoing staff education program is called The Elite Way! This program is designed to ensure our entire staff is engaged in identical training methods and philosophies
• Our program creates a training style similar to the KNVB (coach’s education program in Holland).
• All coaches teach the same style, so regardless of which trainer is on the field, they are teaching The Elite Way!

• Children with special needs are always welcomed in our program. as long as we are equipped to assist them accordingly.
