ELITE FT FAQS & POLICIES FOR SPORTS PERFORMANCE,
SOCCER AND FITNESS CLASSES

  • What is your cancellation/refund policy?

No refunds. You may transfer to a different Elite FT program in the same season. Based on the reason for canceling, a future credit may be considered.

  • What are your membership policies?

  • Do you only train soccer players, or do you offer performance coaching for different sports?

While Elite FT offers technical training for soccer players, our Sports Performance strength and conditioning classes are geared toward athletes in multiple sports, from baseball and basketball to football and lacrosse. All advanced, private and team/club training are tailored to the demands of the individual sport so your athlete can reach their full potential.

  • Does my child have to be a member to attend kids soccer or sports performance classes?

Our unlimited soccer and sports performance classes are member-based so athletes have an affordable option to train throughout the month. However, Elite FT hosts soccer classes year-round that offer non-members and members alike the chance to build their skill set, strength and agility. Search our Soccer Camps and Sports Performance options to find the best fit for your athlete.

  • How do I register multiple children for an Elite FT membership?

If you’re registering more than one child for memberships (Soccer or Sports Performance), please contact us at info@eliteft.com

  • How many children are in each class?

Most classes are coed. There are 8-12 kids per coach.

  • Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! We offer a sibling discount and a military discount on all camps and semester purchases. These discounts are only available prior to communicated registration deadlines. They are not available day 1 of the camp or semester or after. There are no discounts available when a semester is prorated, allowing a customer to late-add.

We also offer a 20% discount for groups of 6 or more for camps and semesters. You must contact prior to registering. Refunds will not be made if group members have already registered prior to requesting a coupon code (contact info@eliteft.com to request a group code).

  • How long is a class?

Most classes are 55 minutes. Each soccer class starts with training and ends with a scrimmage. (2-3 year old classes with a parent are 40 minutes)

  • Does my child have to be a member to attend fitness or soccer camps?

No. Our camps are open to anyone. However, as a member, your child will receive 50% off every camp they attend.

  • What should my child wear?

    For Soccer:

    • Your child should wear comfortable/athletic-type clothing so they can move freely.
    • Shin guards are required starting at age 4
    • Outdoor shoes are recommended on the turf; Molded plastic cleats/studs will work best for traction and enhance your child’s experience.

    For Sports Performance:

    • Your child should wear comfortable/athletic-type clothing so they can move freely.
    • Tennis shoes are recommended.
  • Should our child wear their Elite FT training shirt each week?

Yes, please. We would like your child to wear it each week.

  • Should I bring my own ball, and what size ball?

    • Online registration is preferred.
    • Should you need assistance, please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the class you wish to register your child for.

We accept cash, check or credit/debit cards on site.

  • Camp already started. Can my child attend camp?

Yes, we will prorate the cost. Please contact info@eliteft.com to get started.

  • What training do your coaches receive?

    • To ensure the best experience for our program participants, staff training is our top priority.
    • Our ongoing staff education program is called The Elite Way! This program is designed to ensure our entire staff is engaged in identical training methods and philosophies.
    • Our program creates a training style similar to the KNVB (coach’s education program in Holland).
    • All coaches teach the same style, so regardless of which trainer is on the field, they are teaching The Elite Way!

You will periodically see our program directors with clipboards during our programs evaluating our coaches.

  • What is your policy regarding children with special needs?

Children with special needs are always welcomed in our program as long as we are equipped to assist them accordingly. Please contact our Administrative Director at info@eliteft.com for more information.

  • Do you offer private training?

Yes, we offer private training for our Sports Performance and Soccer participants. Click on any of the links to learn more about our private training options.

  • Can my athlete attend more than once a week?

Yes. Our memberships allow your child to train unlimited in our Soccer or Sports Performance classes at either of our locations in her/his age-appropriate class.

  • Can my team train together?

Yes! We offer team and club technical training for soccer players as well as strength and conditioning or Youth Fitness classes for players in any sport. Click on the links to learn more.

  • My child wants to play recreational soccer. Does Elite FT offer leagues?

Elite FT offers only camps, classes and advanced training. However, our partner facility, The Sports Academy in Glen Carbon, has hosted recreational leagues for all ages since 2004. To take your child’s training to the playing field, visit www.thesportsacademy.net.

  • Where are you located?

We call ourselves on being a mobile company. We have a gym in Glen Carbon at The Sports Academy that offers Adult Bootcamp and Sports Performance for athletes of all sports. For Soccer, we offer year round classes indoors in Glen Carbon at The Sports Academy and year round classes in the O’Fallon/Belleville area. We also offer private/club training, seasonal programs and summer camps in the surrounding communities of the metro east and beyond.

  • Where are your offices?

We currently have 6 full time staff members. We work primarily remote but have team meetings bi-weekly at The Sports Academy in Glen Carbon. That is our home base as our gym is located there and our owner is part owner of the facility.

  • Do you only offer soccer?

We started with soccer. It is the only 'skill' that we teach. But we also offer Sports Performance training for athletes of all sports. We have lacrosse, baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, cheerleaders, football, wrestlers and more. We also have a gym that has Adult Bootcamp classes and Functional Fitness.

  • I’m confused. What is the difference between classes and camps and seasonal programs and training?

We understand. It can be confusing:

    • Classes are offered weekly, year round. For soccer, classes are Mondays and Thursdays in the O’Fallon/Belleville area, as well as Tuesdays and Wednesdays indoors in Glen Carbon at The Sports Academy. For Sports Performance classes, they are offered in our gym.
    • Seasonal Programs are offered weekly but only seasonal. An example would be in the spring we offer a program in Mascoutah, once a week for 5 weeks.
    • Camps are anything we offer that is a minimum of 3 days in a row. Examples would be Holiday Camp and Summer Camps.
    • Training consists of private, small group, team and club training. This is scheduled periodically with the customer. Traditionally this is 1-2 times per week and seasonal. Currently we train over 50 athletes privately per week and over 60 teams per week
    • Leagues are offered periodically in the winter. These are sometimes only games and others we include a practice plus a game
    • Partnership Program is when another organization such as a recreational program, select program, school, etc. hires us for their training. Typically, the organization markets the program and supplies the field and then we bring all of the equipment and provide all of the training. Contact us for more information!
