Daniel Brennan

Goalkeeper Academy Director

From Edwardsville, IL, Daniel joined Elite FT in 2023 and holds the position of Goalkeeper Academy Director.  Daniel brings experienced leadership and passion to our Goalkeeper Academy Program. He has playing experience at the DI (University of Louisville) and DIII (Salisbury University) levels. He brings years of coaching experience at the DI (SIUE) and DII (McKendree University) levels as well. He also has 6 years of Goalkeeper Director experience at the club soccer level. Daniel has a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

When asked what his Why was, he said, "To put it simply, I’m a goalkeeping junkie. I had several goalkeeper coaches when I was younger and learned different ways of playing the position. I want to make sure that all the knowledge that was given to me is passed down to the next group of aspiring keepers!"

Fun Fact: His favorite training drill is Tips. Brennan says "This is something I’ve been doing with my GKs for years now, but not sure people will know it unless they’ve played it during training with me previously."

Currently, Coach Daniel calls St. Louis, MO home. When he is not being a “goalkeeping junkie” he enjoys gardening with his two dogs and growing his collection of house plants.
